Author Edger Gunther grew up in San Francisco, the Bay area. He was raised in a Pentecostal Church. He attended a trade school for culinary arts and the Micro Entrepreneurs Business College with a focus on restaurant marketing and ownership. He graduated after two years and has owned six businesses throughout his life. Gunther is an avid golfer, and he loves music, traveling, and theater.

He went through a horrific experience that was so painful he kept it to himself because he was embarrassed and felt that he needed to protect himself. Today, he is standing tall and being as genuine as he can to tell his story. His goal is to accept people where they are and to be with people who accept him as he is. This is his first book.
